I Am A Robot.

Mommy and I have been busy wrapping up our Maternity and Super Infant Leave ... but don't worry, many blog posts to come!

Last weekend we went with Daddy to the First Robotics competition to see YES Prep SE's 2737 Robotics Team.

I rode in my new super carrier with Daddy: the Ergo Baby Carrier (organic of course!).  Daddy, you did a great job.  You only dropped about a gallon of sweat on me ... just kidding!

What is your favorite Baby Carrier?  (I prefer to call mine ... my Super Infant Carrier).

Here we are below at the Robotics competition at the George R. Brown Convention Center with the super Robotics Guru, "Auntie" Rita.  Nice goggles, right?  They believe in safety.  I believe in living on the edge.

Afterwards we walked through Discovery Green (my first visit to Houston's Downtown Park).  Daddy, don't I blend in with the art?  

Art bikes!  Some of our favorite things - art and biking.  Auntie Tam said I get a bike for my 1st Birthday.  I wonder if I can ride one then?

YES Prep SE Electives Team: We Are Taking Over The World.

I had my F1RST visit out of the womb to YES Prep Southeast (home of the Wizards).  A new building and everything!  Boy, they know how to welcome Mad Max properly (although they didn't know I was coming ... well, "Auntie" JCranc did, but she's TW2 so she probably didn't remember.  Love you "Auntie" JCranc!).

I had a very important meeting to attend with the Electives Team (JCranc, Rita, B, Omar, and Michelle... well, we were minus Michelle.  We missed you!  TW!).  It was so nice to meet some of them for the F1RST time.

Here I am.  At the meeting.  With Rita.  Nice smile I got, huh?  I got that from Mommy.  Hah!  I was slightly distracted at the meeting ... our art room looks like a REAL art room.  Such an upgrade for Super Mad Max.

Two claps for JCranc for leading the meeting ... Omar for pretending to take notes... and the others for just being there.  And of course for planning my (well, our) upcoming F1RST Electives Exhibition on Thursday, May 12th after school.  Bring it!  Stay tuned for more info about our show.  We hope you can make it!

I was a bit sick to my stomach during the meeting.  Drank too much at lunch.  Would you expect anything less?  Winning (thanks Charlie Sheen)!  Mommy didn't bring enough burp clothes, so I just used her shirt.  And her jeans.  And her arm.  And her hand.  Maybe her hair too.  But then ...

Good thing I pulled myself together ... once it started to spread that Mad Max was in the building .. I knew what it felt like to be Justin Bieber at a local mall on Spring Break.  And Mommy thought it was an appropriate time for a peep show Super Diaper change.

Wow, I look like I drink beer instead of Scotch.  Wizards were laughing at the way I talk.  No need to be jealous of my Brit Accent.  I have enough conversation to go around!  Politics?  The arts?  Literature?  Sports?  Celebrities?  I'm there.  Mommy and I keep up with our reading time.

I need a status report on our meeting by end of business this Friday.

TW Mommy was only able to snap a few photos with a few visitors ... she was distracted by all of the vomit on her clothes.  I'm not claiming it!  We'll have to come back soon to take more photos.

We are discussing the upcoming AP test.  I was slightly upset after realizing I couldn't take it this year.

My Bed Before the Bed ... and My Mini Lambie Seat

"The Situation" has his shirt BEFORE the shirt ... but apparently I have my bed before the bed... Mommy and Daddy call it my "bassinet."  Aren't they silly?  They think I'm not ready for my big boy crib!  I think sleeping in my crib sounds much easier than breathing underwater for 9 months!  Try that, Superman.

Either way, Daddy did such a good job putting it together!  He's turned into quite a handyman.  Thank you, Daddy.  And thank you to "Auntie" ... LAR, Rita, and Michelle for helping Mommy buy my Bed Before the Bed.

Wait for it ... wait for it ...

Tada!  Look... it's my Super Bed Before the Bed.  Take that Cowie!  Cowie is keeping the peace between my Bed Before the Bed and My Crib.  My "Bassinet" also turns into a Super Duper Tee Tee and Poo Poo table (Mommy says "Changing Table.")... once I decide to exit the womb, Mommy says she will put it right next to her so she can watch me sleep.  (Crazy Train).

Mommy and Daddy love collecting things that they can sit me in.  What?  Is there not enough room for me on the couch?  But... Daddy's co-worker, Liz, got me a super awesome Mini Lambie Seat!  Mommy and Daddy's couch doesn't bounce - so take that!  Thank you!

Mommy's Mad Max Baby Shower

Mommy said she might need a full week to recover from my Super Shower!  I think I need at least about a month and 1/2.  Auntie Tam may need a full two months! 

A super big thanks goes out to our hostesses: Grandma A, Auntie Tam, "Auntie" Stephanie, "Auntie" Eek, and "Auntie" Jessicana!!  And a big thanks goes out to all of our fans ...aka our party guests, including Daddy's Family (Grandma Johnson, Auntie Dana, Cousin Corryn and Rilyn, and Auntie Maggie), Mommy's friends, and more.

Grandma A did such a great job on my Baby Shower Book and Photo Album!  Take that Martha Stewart.

Look at my cake!!  It's my house.  Touch my swag, if you could ... Grandma A "Stewart" picked it out.  And check out my fabulous favor bags.

Oh, look at my diaper cake!  I think it's from "Auntie" Stephanie.  How funny.  The grown ups put my pampies with the food.  It looks so nice though.  Mommy kept me well fed at the food table!  Grandma A made Martha Stewart worthy cupcakes, and Grandma J also brought Sprinkles Cupcakes.  Mommy loves cupcakes.

"Auntie" Jessicana the Mixologist.  She makes the Mad Max guests 'holla!!'  The hostesses served Buttery Nipples.  Aren't they funny making fun of my future food source?  Anything has to be better than this cord.  When was the last time you sat down to dinner and enjoyed a good meal through your belly button?

"Train Wreck" Mommy forgot to take a picture with her bestie, "Auntie" Eek.  Oh, Mommy!  And of course "Auntie" Eek wouldn't remember... she is carrying my friend the fetus!  I like to call him Bob in the meantime.

Here is Fetus Bob's big brother Dylan going for my cake food source!  Step back!  He was a big help to Mommy during my present opening time.  I'll forgive him.

Of course my party is not complete without a Max's House Dance Party.  Here are the winners!  Aren't they funny?  They may ask me to delete this picture.  I'm fired.
