Weekend Update: Remembering and More

This weekend marked the 10th Anniversary of September 11th, 2001.  For those of you counting, I was not born quite yet, but my Mommy explained that it was a very sad but important day in our recent history. Stay tuned ... in my next blog, I have a photo dedicated to 9/11/01.

In the meantime ... my Weekend Update:

Train Wreck Mommy and Daddy took me to the Houston Zoo for my weekend outing.  Daddy is trying to point out very important animals in the Children's Zoo.  I am just trying not to gag on the skunk smell.

This weekend at home I started to show off my monkey (climbing) skills.  Honestly, what I was really trying to say was ... um, Mommy!  Mommy!  It's time to update the blog.  Let me go ahead and get the laptop.

Sunday also marked my F1RST (not counting Pre-Season) Texans game.  I'm practicing my kicking skills by kicking some blocks and balls at home.

Hey, brother!  Hey, feline ... let's having a crawling race.  Your fur can't handle me right now.

"Cousin" Reid and "Cousin" Dylan stopped by on Sunday with "Auntie" Eek too (Auntie Eek, we forgot to take a photo together!  Oh, Mommy).  Wow, check out Dylan the scene stealer.  Need I say more?

Um, you boys can go ahead and pose for a photo.  I'm taking off this way.  I heard Daddy pouring me a Scotch.  (Come visit again soon, Robertson crew!!)

Summer with Train Wreck Mommy is finally here!  We'll have many adventures to share with you.  And also in the meantime, we have many blogs to catch you up on.

"Auntie" Eek's family came to visit about a week ago... I finally got to meet them!  Auntie Eek, Uncle Carl ...and my buddies, Dylan and Reid.  Reid and I share the same birthday month - Jan 2011.  Here are a few photos from our vomit-filled afternoon:

Highlight of my 4 Month Bday: Eating My Hand

Mad Max here ... I've been so busy trying to keep Train Wreck Mommy afloat at YES Prep.  Keep swimming, Mommy!  Only four more weeks ...

I have a great posting to come back to ... my 4 Month Birthday was today.  And my brother, the feline ... (Hermann) - it was his 3 year old Birthday, and Auntie Eek - Happy Birthday to you!

Train Wreck Mommy LOVES to take 10.5 billion photos of me on my birthday.  Here are .0000000001 percent of those.  A few highlights ... and thank you to Super Daddy for taking care of me while TW Mommy went to the YES Prep Fine Arts Show.  And thank you to Gma and Gpa J ... and Cousin Corryn and Ri-Bear for visiting me on my Bday.  Way to show off your rolling skills, Ri.  I'm watching you!

Each month on my birthday Mommy takes 1,000 photos of me in Daddy's running shirt.  Mommy ... the more photos you take doesn't make the shirt fit better.  Meanwhile, I like to entertain myself with my feet.

Oh, yes ... and thank you also goes out to my family for my wonderful 4 month gifts.  A Bumbo Seat and Tray ... toys that make noise, and more!  Now I must rest up for Mommy's big day tomorrow - her FIRST Mother's Day.  I love you, Mommy!

Fan Club at the Hospital

Mad Max lovesssss visitors!  I really loved my hospital visitors and any extra special attention I got during my stay.  You know, being born isn't an easy task ... right, Mommy?

Here is the sign on my hospital room door...all of my visitors got to sign it!

"Auntie" Alicen was my first non-Family Member visitor.  Thanks for coming, and thanks for the Sprinkles cupcakes, Alicen!  Cupcakes are always welcome, says Mommy.

My hospital stay wouldn't have been the same without a visit from "Auntie" Jessicana.  Thanks for the flowers, Auntie J!

I also had a lot of train wreck visitors from my school, YES Prep SE.  This is me with JCranc.  How are you holding up w/o me "Auntie" JCranc?  Thanks for bringing me a flower.  Mommy and I are enjoying it in her room now.

And of course a big thank you to my #1 visitors - both sets of Grandparents!  They came to see me almost everyday I think.  They also helped Train Wreck Mommy and Lacking Sleep Daddy.

Hey Ladies ... Mad Max is Two Weeks Old Today!

It's hard to believe it's been two weeks since this train wreck of IDs and Medicine ...

These are all of our (mine, Mommy's, Daddy's) medical bracelets and such from the hospital.  Mommy's favorite one for herself was the yellow "FALL RISK..."  Hah!  Mommy you need that on a daily basis.  I think she's going to wear it when she goes back to work even though she put them all in my Super Baby Memory Box.  Given that it's my 2 week birthday, I think it's a perfect time to wrap up my blog postings on my hospital stay, so I will work on those today.

This morning Mommy said to Daddy ... "do you know what today is!"... Daddy said "Max's 2 Week Birthday... but we can't keep celebrating every Friday...." way to rain on my parade, Daddy!  That's okay, I still love you.  I wonder what is in the works for my 1 month Birthday!  Sometimes Mommy cries when she thinks of me growing out of my newborn stage... but at the same time, she is secretly planning my 1st Year Birthday already ... = Train Wreck!

In other news ... Mommy put me in another pair of big boy pants today ... yesterday Daddy said my big boy pants looked like thug pants because they were too big.  I think I get my skinny legs from, Daddy.  We all know Mommy has those tree trunks for legs!  Love you, Mommy.

We had a great time during activity time today ...

Auntie Tam!  Can you see my asian eye and white eye?  I think you need to talk to me about this when I see you in Feb.  Ignore my milk droppings ... a growing boy has to eat.  No one ever said I was a neat eater.

Check me out checkin' out my activity gym.  I got two awesome gyms.  One from Uncle Caesar and Family ... well, he is Mommy's Uncle... so does that make him my Great Uncle?  And I got this activity gym from "Auntie" Eek's parents.  Thank you!  And check out my new rug in my nursery.  Thank you Gma and Gpa Johnson!

And I know all the ladies are checking out my army pants ... nothing like a Super Baby in uniform to get the attention of the ladies.  I got these from my Auntie Dana and Family.

Daddy, come home soon from work!  We can have activity time.

Mommy's Mad Max Baby Shower

Mommy said she might need a full week to recover from my Super Shower!  I think I need at least about a month and 1/2.  Auntie Tam may need a full two months! 

A super big thanks goes out to our hostesses: Grandma A, Auntie Tam, "Auntie" Stephanie, "Auntie" Eek, and "Auntie" Jessicana!!  And a big thanks goes out to all of our fans ...aka our party guests, including Daddy's Family (Grandma Johnson, Auntie Dana, Cousin Corryn and Rilyn, and Auntie Maggie), Mommy's friends, and more.

Oh, look at my diaper cake!  I think it's from "Auntie" Stephanie.  How funny.  The grown ups put my pampies with the food.  It looks so nice though.  Mommy kept me well fed at the food table!  Grandma A made Martha Stewart worthy cupcakes, and Grandma J also brought Sprinkles Cupcakes.  Mommy loves cupcakes.

"Auntie" Jessicana the Mixologist.  She makes the Mad Max guests 'holla!!'  The hostesses served Buttery Nipples.  Aren't they funny making fun of my future food source?  Anything has to be better than this cord.  When was the last time you sat down to dinner and enjoyed a good meal through your belly button?

"Train Wreck" Mommy forgot to take a picture with her bestie, "Auntie" Eek.  Oh, Mommy!  And of course "Auntie" Eek wouldn't remember... she is carrying my friend the fetus!  I like to call him Bob in the meantime.

Here is Fetus Bob's big brother Dylan going for my cake food source!  Step back!  He was a big help to Mommy during my present opening time.  I'll forgive him.
