Preview: Happy 1st Birthday To Me

On Saturday I celebrated my 1st Birthday at the Houston Zoo with family and friends (which of course included Train Wreck Mommy, My Hero Daddy, Auntie Tam, and more!).

I can't wait to share more about the celebration and big day with you.  Can you believe Train Wreck Mommy and I literally have over 500 photos to comb through?  Yikes.  We will share more soon, but in the meantime... here is a sneak peek!

Who is Daddy's favorite Zoo Keeper?  Mean Bean (that's me - Mino).

Later ... at home with the family opening gifts from my family, friends, and fans.  In my pampies.  Of course.  (I'm wearing my 1st Birthday shirt from Little One Boutique).

If you are Mommy's FB friend, you probably already saw these photos below.  If not, here we are ... in all our glory at my 1st Birthday Party!

My Hero Daddy ... Me as a Zoo Keeper (umm, thanks Mom!), and Train Wreck Mommy.  Love you guys!

(I actually got much praise for my outfit that Mommy found at the San Diego Zoo Shop.  What do you think?)  I picked out Mommy's sweater at Gap.

I immediately stopped crying after Mommy told me it was vegan.  Whew, I was safe.  Cookies and Cream vegan cake from Whole Foods - yum.

(1st Birthday hat and bib from Little One Boutique).

Two big highlights of the weekend: Auntie Tam was here to celebrate with us, AND the Texans won their F1RST playoff game.  What a day!  I will share more soon.  Stay tuned, and be sure to click on follow to follow my blog!

Weekend Update: Remembering and More

This weekend marked the 10th Anniversary of September 11th, 2001.  For those of you counting, I was not born quite yet, but my Mommy explained that it was a very sad but important day in our recent history. Stay tuned ... in my next blog, I have a photo dedicated to 9/11/01.

In the meantime ... my Weekend Update:

Train Wreck Mommy and Daddy took me to the Houston Zoo for my weekend outing.  Daddy is trying to point out very important animals in the Children's Zoo.  I am just trying not to gag on the skunk smell.

Finally!  A photo with Mommy!  Mommy, look ... I am almost as big as you.

This weekend at home I started to show off my monkey (climbing) skills.  Honestly, what I was really trying to say was ... um, Mommy!  Mommy!  It's time to update the blog.  Let me go ahead and get the laptop.

Sunday also marked my F1RST (not counting Pre-Season) Texans game.  I'm practicing my kicking skills by kicking some blocks and balls at home.

Hey, brother!  Hey, feline ... let's having a crawling race.  Your fur can't handle me right now.

Giggle fits with Daddy (not a modeling session).

"Cousin" Reid and "Cousin" Dylan stopped by on Sunday with "Auntie" Eek too (Auntie Eek, we forgot to take a photo together!  Oh, Mommy).  Wow, check out Dylan the scene stealer.  Need I say more?

Um, you boys can go ahead and pose for a photo.  I'm taking off this way.  I heard Daddy pouring me a Scotch.  (Come visit again soon, Robertson crew!!)

And how did everyone else spend their weekend?

Professional Bloggers Do Not Eat Baby Powder

So Auntie Tam and Uncle Michael were in town this past weekend.  I blame them and all my visiting fans for my lack of blogging lately!  Love y'all.

Before I get to some fan news that is much overdue ... some important news of the day.

I still plan to become a Houston Texan one day ... (don't worry, Dad).  And I still plan to go to Duke one day (don't worry, Mom) ... but I'm thinking in the meantime, I will also work on becoming a Professional Blogger.  Should I get on FB?  Twitter?  Order Super Infant Business Cards?  This morning Mommy and I were reading the New York Times as we often do during breakfast, and we came across Queens of the Mom-Blog Kingdom.  Umm, forget Mom blogs (borrr-ing!), what about Super Infant Blogs?

I think Mad Max should start following blogs.  Any recommendations?

In other news (to circle back to the title of this blog), TW Mommy has Dr. Oz (Wack Job) on ... and there are "stressed out Moms" addicted to eating baby powder.  Wow.  See what I mean ... Super Infant Blogs, so much better than Mom blogs.  Love you, Mommy!

And to catch up on my fans ...

Last week Gma A and "Auntie" Jackie (TW Mommy's Aunt) came to visit me!  We did some Activity Time, went to Paulie's for lunch, and went to see the new Baby's 1st Furniture on Kirby (and when we returned home I had a strong bottle of whiskey and beat them at poker).  Come visit again soon!!

Last Friday "Auntie" Alicen came to visit us too.  Thanks for bringing us delicious lunch from W Grill.  But I heard there were Margaritas to go ... ?  Mad Max likes them with salt for future reference.

Come again soon!  Or maybe I'll see you when you pick me up for March Madness.  You know I put the "Mad" in March Madness, right?

More soon!

Superbowl Sundayyy!

My first Superbowl was this past Sunday ... 2/6/11.

I put on my Mad Max Texan Onesie to celebrate ... unfortunately partying with my milk resulted in me vomiting on my Superbowl outfit (again).  So I switched to my sports outfit that you see in these photos.

I can sum up the Superbowl to one word = yawn.  Where are the Texans?!  Maybe next year, guys.  I'm looking forward to off-season training!  Mad Max will be there.

Warmin' up for the Superbowl during Activity Time with Daddy.

Game time.  It would be so much more interesting if Mommy would let me see the TV screen.  She said not before my 2nd Birthday!  Wow.

Star Athlete on the Texans ...

A few poses from today ... thank you to "Auntie" Elizabeth ... she made my Mad Max Texan onesie!  Come visit soon!  I can't wait to meet my gf Anna.

By the way, good thing she made two outfits because I went through both of them.  Mommy may report me to Overeaters Anonymous for my spit up issue!

My Fan Base Grows

I may need to hire a Super Full Time Assistant to help Mommy with my Fan Base and schedule!

Gma A's friend Suzanne came to visit me at the end of last week.  Thank you for coming!

Mommy's friend Viola also came to visit at the end of last week.  I've been eagerly awaiting "Auntie" Viola's arrival.  She made me a blanket!!  She also made me wonder ... "Auntie" Jessicana, where is that Monkey I've heard rumors about?  I love you, "Auntie" Jessicana!... haha, but back to my blanket, didn't Viola do such a great job?  And it matches my room perfectly.  I'll have to take a pic of it in my room sometime.

You can see the blanket there at the end of my bed.

"Auntie" Alicen came to see me on Sunday, and she brought us soup!  Yay for not eating toast for the 10th time in a row.  It was super yummy, thank you "Auntie" Alicen.  We also watched some Playoff Football (well, fell asleep... it was quite boring, wasn't it?... not much of a game.  Hopefully the Texans will be in it next year.)  I (most appropriately) wore one of my many sports outfits.

Daddy's friend Mick also came to visit on Sunday.  "Uncle" Mick was afraid to hold me!  Hah, he must have heard I am a Super Infant with super powers.  Do.  Not.  Be.  Intimated.  But, it is probably better that he didn't pick me up.  If he dropped me, I would have fallen like 10.5 billion feet to the floor.  Look at this guy!

I can't wait to see what loving fans come next.  Maybe I should start autographing my dirty diapers.

Mad Max is now weighing in at ...

Train Wreck Mommy, Daddy, and I got to leave the house today ... for my first doctor's appointment.  I wore a pimp outfit from Mommy's friend "Auntie" Tiffany, but I managed to poo up my back later that afternoon ...let's not talk about that though.  When a Super Infant has to go .... he has to go, okay?

Here I am with Daddy at my doctor's appointment.  Daddy had to strip me down to almost my diaper... whoa, whoa, whoa... now I know how Mommy felt at her doctor appointments.

Mommy found my doctor through her friend "Auntie" Ashley.  Thanks, "Auntie" Ashley!  She sure was nice.

So this will probably send the ladies into a line around the block ...but Mad Max is now weighing in at ...

As you may remember, I started at 7 lbs 15.9 oz.  The doctor even asked Train Wreck Mommy if she was feeding me Half and Half ... I'm just a growing boy, you know!

Not only that, but I am 2 inches longer.  2 inches closer to being the Texans kicker next season!

Here I am after my examination.  The doc said I am ready to take a Super Big Boy bath on Wednesday.  Finally!  The ladies like a fresh smellin' Mad Max.  She also said Train Wreck Mommy and Daddy should put me on a sleep schedule with sleep training this week.  What!  Sleep at night??  This is Mad Max you are talking about.  But then I figured this training schedule would be good preparation for the Texans Training Camp.

Who said a fetus can't paint (upside down)?

Mommy and I have been so busy this past week!

From school, to our 10.5 billion hour Birthing Class with Daddy (he only fell asleep 3 times!), Grandpa Johnson's Retirement Party, to the Texans / Rockets losing (again), preparing my nursery, and more!

More including meeting "Auntie" Ashley ... Sandy ... and Alicen on Sunday for some pottery painting at The Mad Potter on Sunday.  Mommy found a Lambie Bank for us to paint!!

Here are the before shots... oh Mommy, don't we look better in a spray tan?  Poor Mommy, I hope she forgives me for making her so bloated.

Mommy, My House, and "Auntie" Alicen

This is the Lambie before!  The Mad Potter lady said "are you painting him black for the black sheep of the family?"... (maybe because Mommy and I ordered a lot of black paint.. we are very goth!)... although she already knows my family too well, I'm not the black sheep yet!

"Auntie" Sandy and "Auntie" Ashley

Lambie after!  Didn't Mom and I do a great job?  It'll look even better after they fire it.  We also wrote Max on his bottom.  Most appropriate.  It took us forever to do his brown ears.  They gave us broken paint!
