Mad for Monday (Max's Weekend Update): Under the Weather

Hi Family, Friends, and Fans,

How was your weekend?

The Train Wrecks and I didn't leave the house all weekend (well, My Hero Daddy did run a few errands)!  I came down with a freak fever on Thursday that has lasted until Sunday (the Super Docs said probably a viral infection).

Here I am at the doc (Bootin and Savrick) on Friday with Train Wreck Mommy (but who is the Train Wreck now?).  And might I add this is my second doc visit of the day.  Long story short (and after many tests) I "probably" have a viral infection that for me only apparently has the symptom of a fever.

Dinner that night consisted of a cold rag on my head.  Yum!  I spent much of my time this weekend with a cold rag on my head.  As TW Mommy and Daddy say "rag head!"

I also spent much of my weekend in my pampie which was actually a plus (since I was feverish).  Who needs clothes anyways?  Here I am above watching the NFL Draft with Daddy (even though Mommy said "no TV until you are at least 2 years old!")

By Sunday morning I was making my funny faces.  I love making funny faces because Train Wreck Mommy makes even better faces back at me.  I still had a slight fever on Sunday, but I seem to be on the mends!  Super Tots beat sicknesses!

So as you can see we weren't able to do much this weekend.  I hope your weekend was more interesting and healthier than ours!

What did you do this weekend?

Mad for Monday (Max's Weekend Update): Easter Weekend

Hi Family, Friends, and Fans,

How was your weekend?  How was your Easter (if you celebrate)?

First, we need to apologize ... our Internet was out most of last week, and we had a few other obstacles, so we were unable to blog most of last week.  I hope you missed me!  I am back though.

Second, we had a fun-filled Easter Weekend, and I have much to share with you!

Third, my Super Auntie Tam has an awesome giveaway on the blog of her company website: Studio Swoon LULUofNY Giveaway.  Be sure to check it out, enter, and share with others!  You won't be disappointed.  Love you, Auntie Tam.

My "mad" weekend in a nutshell:

Whew.  No wonder I am tired.

Enjoy some photos, captions, and more information about our weekend!  And be sure to check out our Mad About Town Chron blog today.  And let us know about your weekend!  How was it?

Okay, Mr. Creepy Easter Bunny wasn't really THAT creepy, but I tried to play along with the face of fear.

Did you know that Memorial City Mall has lots of things to do for Mall Rat kids?  Mommy let me play this ride three times!

Our church (St. Luke's Methodist) had Easter in the Park (Discovery Green) this morning.  Here I am with My Hero Daddy listening to the music.

I had a great Easter at Gma and Gpa A's (Gramby and Pops) today!  Thanks for all of my Easter surprises.  I also got a new house (which was supposedly not an Easter surprise).

And this is also my Easter Basket from Train Wreck Mommy and My Hero Daddy.  I picked out all of my surprises at Target with Mommy.

Later ... I also had a great time at Gma and Gpa J's (Mimi and Grampi's) for Easter.  Thank you for my Easter surprises and Easter lunch!  And thank you also to Auntie Dana for my Easter surprise.

Check out the Lawn Mower I got above.  Hey, you know, I don't do this for free?

Mad for Monday (Max's Weekend Update): Attack of the Germs

Hi Family, Friends, and Fans,

How was your weekend?

Houstonians, did you check out the Houston Children's Festival that we talked about in our Mad About Town blog on Friday?  Unfortunately we didn't make it there this weekend.  I turned into Mr. Wheezer early Friday morning, and Train Wreck Mommy stayed home with me to visit the doctor.  We weren't able to do much this weekend!

Here I am before Dr. Savrick came in our room.  You wouldn't think I am sick, right?  I'm just hanging out on the Super Perfect for Max Chairs.  The orange chair needs to be a little more burnt orange, please.  (By the way, the Dr. said "I'm glad you aren't wearing one of those horrible maroon shirts!  She must be a Longhorn grad!).

But as soon as Dr. Savrick came in, she called me Mr. Weezer.  Turns out I had an ear infection and bronchiolitis.  Train Wreck Mommy's intuition was right!  Well, to fix my Mr. Weezer problem, they had to put a horrible breathing treatment on me.  Superheroes don't need breathing treatments!  Mommy didn't have a free hand to take a photo of the whole horrible process because she was holding me down.

Needless to say, we didn't have a very fun weekend to report to you.  We spent a lot of time at Gramby and Pops ... they took care of us!  (Thank you!)  Mommy hasn't been feeling well either, and Daddy needed some rest from taking care of me at night.

But the GOOD news is ...

What you've been waiting for, ladies...

I'm officially a WALKER.  Last Thursday, I walked about 10 steps with Gramby (up from about 2 - 4), and all weekend I've been mostly walking and walking.  I also like to walk "touchdown!" style with my arms in the air.  We'll share more photos and videos soon.

Here I am walking in Gramby and Pop's backyard.  Outside is my new favorite place to be!  Please excuse my incomplete outfit.  I was sick.

We should be here every day this week, but just note, we are recovering from illnesses and on top of that our Internet is down at home.  Whew.

How was your weekend?  What did you do?

-Mad Max
