Weekend Update: Boo!

Happy Halloween, fans!  Thank you to Gma and Gpa A (Gramby and Pops) for all of my Halloween gifts.  On Friday evening I played with my new cars aka terrorized my bother the feline, Hermann.  Thank you also for the Halloween cards, and thank you for the Halloween card, Auntie Tam and Uncle Michael.

Whistling at my brother on Saturday morning.

On Saturday Train Wreck Mommy and My Hero Daddy took me to the Houston Zoo for Zoo Boo!  Unfortunately they put that ridiculous costume on me.  Your time will come!

Fueling up for Zoo Boo.

Um, if this guy is any indication of our day at the Zoo, I am very frightened.  No pun intended.  Hide yo' kids!

Daddy!  Daddy!  Look at me.  This is awful.

Mommy said, "whistle of the elephant!"... Okay, crazy lady.

Baby Elephant!  Like Baby Max!  Hey, kid, where is your spider costume?  I'd like to see that.

Something is wrong with this photo.  White socks, maybe?

Here I am with Daddy checking out the "real Sophies," as Mommy calls them.

Mommy, they are called giraffes.

What I am most worried about is that I am actually getting use to being a spider.  I mean, what does that say about me?  Really?

What happens to Super Infants after Zoo Boo?  This.  I was drugged!

Don't worry.  I had an afternoon nap and an afternoon pick me up later that afternoon at Onion Creek Cafe.  Daddy, daddy, I heard it was Happy Hour?

The BIGGEST NEWS OF THE WEEKEND:

]

Mommy came to get me this morning while I was trying to escape.  She called Daddy and said "bring the camera!  Bring the camera!"...

Okay, okay, I get the point.  I will have to figure another way out.

In the meantime, I tested the Train Wrecks ability to keep up with me today ... I can now stand up at nearly anything!  Mommy, quit hogging all of the good New York Times sections.

How was your weekend?  Did you celebrate Halloween?

Auntie Tam Adventure: Day 3

Day 3 Auntie Tam!  Wake up!  It's past 7 am.  The day is half over!

Um, wow.  Train Wreck, Auntie Tam.

Finally.

Yes, let's talk.  Let's discuss.  What do you think about the latest on Occupy Wall Street?  I agree.

Scotch and bagels, later?

Later ... after church, we took awkward family photos at the pumpkin patch.

Auntie Tam, aren't breakfast treats from Whole Foods the best?  Thanks for joining us, Auntie Tam!

Brushing up on modern art (Pop Warhol's Top) with Auntie Tam.

"Uncle" Timmy came to visit too.  I think I should kick him off of my couch for wearing a Saints hat!

We had a blast with you, Auntie Tam!  We miss you already.  Come visit again soon.

How do you like to spend your time with your Aunt or Uncle?

Auntie Tam Adventure: Day 2

Here I am last Saturday at Da Da aka Daddy's company party (Downtown Aquarium).  Two words.  Ramona.  Eyes.

My second carousel ride.  I upgraded to a shark this time.  Shark Week?  Not impressed.  Mad Max Week?  Yes.

You want me to pet a what?  (Nice Ramona Eyes, Daddy).

Later in the afternoon Auntie Tam came over.  We went to my favorite Heights Park (Donovan Park) to swing.

Whee!  Whee!  (Shouts Train Wreck Mommy).

Then we went shopping down 19th Street in the Heights.  Auntie Tam, we are so urban.

We treated Auntie Tam to a Strawberry Milkshake at Cricket's Caffe in the Heights.  My milkshake brings all the babies to the yard ...

Later at home ...

Um, Auntie Tam.  I can still see you.  Peek a boo.

Auntie Tam helped with bath and bedtime.  Don't worry.  We will sneak out later, Auntie Tam!

One more Auntie Tam blog to come!  Stay tuned.

How is your weekend so far?

Auntie Tam Adventure: Day 1

Auntie Tam came to visit this past weekend!  She's more than just a head in an iPad.  Amazing.

We went shopping on the first day of her visit.  She wanted to wear me like a baby monkey.

How do we look?  Wow, Train Wreck, Mommy.  Dress me in more than sweats when we go shopping.  I guess I'll fit right in at the suburban mall!

I know.  I'm not too sure about these "Mall Walkers" either Sophie and Patches.

A few dozen margaritas later - nothing like bonding over Tex Mex with Auntie Tam at Cafe Adobe near Bay Brook Mall.  Thanks for treating us, Gramby!  By the way, Gramby and Train Wreck Mommy were on the shopping trip also.  But it was all about Auntie Tam today!

Umm, hungry.

How do you like to spend time with your Auntie?  Do you have a special Aunt?  Stay tuned for more Auntie Tam adventure blogs this week!

Um, My First (and Last) Pumpkin Patch.

We started off "Pumpkin Patch" day with a 5k at YES Prep SE to raise money for the Athletics Department.  We had a lot of fun running!  I mean, hanging on Mommy like a Baby Monkey while she was a "photographer."

Daddy and Gma J / Mimi did complete the 5k - congrats!

Daddy, Mad Max as an itty bitty baby monkey, and Train Wreck Mommy carrying 10.5 billion items.

Later in the afternoon my life changed forever.  I went to this place called a "pumpkin patch" at St. Luke's Methodist Church with Train Wreck Mommy, Daddy, and Gma and Gpa J.  Large orange monsters, spikey green ground, and me as a monster spider.  Need I say more?  Let's do this every weekend.  Please!

Mommy said it was very important because of the upcoming Halloween holiday and because of the Fall season.  Um, what?  How can me looking like this possibly be important?  Run, children!  Run for your lives!

Spider head.

Mummy!

Here I am posing next to my "Maximino" spider treat bag.  There are no treats?!

Train Wreck Family with the Orange Monsters.

Channeling my inner Orange Monster.

Daddy said I could pick out a baby orange monster.  Who can I save?!  Which one of you can I save!?

How do you like to celebrate this holiday they call "Halloween"?
