How was your weekend?
Biggest Highlight: Congrats to My Hero Daddy for finishing his 2nd Marathon (The Woodlands Marathon) on Saturday morning. He also met his goal of completing it in under 4 hours! Congrats, Dada! I love you.
Sorry we don't have photos to share. Train Wreck Mommy wouldn't take me because she said it was too far, and I might not be able to handle it. Umm, has she met me? (Love you, Mommy!) Maybe Gma J aka Mimi will share photos soon. Here I am below with Dada (and I'm wearing his marathon medal). We enjoyed some yummy pink's pizza when he got home from the marathon.

Shopping ...
It was a nice shopping weekend for Mad Max. On Friday, Gma and Gpa A (Gramby and Pops) spoiled me at Target. Thank you! Check out some new digs they got me at Target. Here I am below practicing walking with Pops. How do you like my style?
Mommy and I also had to pick a few things up at Rice Village this weekend, and I really lucked out (I'll get to that in a minute).
We got a Philosophy Welcome Baby Set at Sephora for a Baby Shower (Pamper Mommy Shower) that Mommy went to that evening (for a co-worker ... her second baby is on the way, congrats!). We also bought the baby a book at Fundamentally Toys (What Color is Bear's Underwear?).
And what a great idea, right? A pamper Mommy party? But don't I pamper you each day, Mommy? Or wait... you actually "pamper" me.
The highlight of our shopping trip was stopping at premiumkids (premiumgoods and there is also a store in our other favorite city, Brooklyn!) They have just the best kicks (and also some kickin' clothes). How do you like my new kicks?
Mommy and I also have been really busy updating Mad Max and Family (my blog), our new Facebook page: Mad Max and Family (be sure to LIKE our new page! Thank you!), and updating our Twitter page (@madmaxandfamily).
Be sure also to find us on Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram (madmaxandfamily)!
More updates to come soon. Let us know what you think. Please leave comments below.
Okay, so this plate wasn't for me, Mad Max (or was it?), but I eat this too, and it's one of my favorite meals! We highly recommend you check out the Happy Herbivore blog and her books (even if you eat, ahem, MEAT!). Her recipes are so delicious. Daddy is vegan, I am pretty much mostly vegan, and Mommy is well... we are working on her (she eats fish).

Food ...
Every weekend (and each day!) we are so lucky because Daddy cooks us delicious vegan meals. We are going to start sharing more of the meals with you (especially the ones that I (Mad Max) eat). Your baby / tot / kid can be a Super Eater too!

Food from Photo:
- Cornbread (The Happy Herbivore) ... my favorite!
- Tempeh Sausage Crumbles (Everyday Happy Herbivore) - yes it tastes like sausage!
- Baked Beans (The Happy Herbivore) - Mommy sometimes cuts them or squishes them for me to eat.
Yum, check it out, and enjoy!

Looks like a pretty great weekend to me. And I think a pamper-mommy-shower sounds pretty awesome!

those lil nike's might be the cutest thing EVER! Connor never had those...infact we had a tough time keeping shoes ON when he was younger...definitely following along via google friend and bloglovin!

Carly, thanks for stopping by (and for the Google Friend and Bloglovin Love). The Nikes are pretty awesome, but then in music class last weekend ... there was a little girl with some pretty awesome Nikes - hot pink and neon green. We just started putting "big boy" shoes on him (as opposed to the more soft baby shoes) ... so far he is (mostly) keeping them on. We'll see.
