Mad for Monday (Max's Weekend Update): Sadie's Birthday Month

Hi Friends,

How was your weekend?  What did you do?

Did you know that today (Monday) is Sadie's (and Daddy's!) Birthday Month!?  And you know what that means ... Train Wreck Mommy turned frantic.  Train Wreck Mommy is trying to frantically prepare for Sadie's arrival so we are going to focus on preparing for a new one this week on our blogs!

If you have kiddos, how did you prepare for new ones?

One example: I think Train Wreck Mommy washed about 1,000 loads of laundry this weekend.  How many clothes does my Super Baby Sister need?  She can have as much as she wants - love you, Sadie!

Other than being frantic ... what else did we do?  I practiced my GOAL!!! (kicking) skills at SoccerTots.  Mommy went to the Houston Galleria to go Maternity / Family photo shoot fashion shopping too (more on that soon!  We take our photos with Erin Carlyle this week.  And Mommy found our outfits at Motherhood Maternity and babyGap.)  Unfortunately our Dewberry Farm visit was delayed until next weekend because of rain, but that just meant I had more time to have some rainy day fun this weekend (see: coloring, practice writing my M's, cooking with Dada).

We also (finally) joined our church, and the Houston Texans went up 4 - 0 (Mommy and Daddy are teaching me FIRST DOWN! - not to be confused with GOAL and TOUCHDOWN).  And I enjoyed music class with Mommy.

One of my fav parts of class ... I get stamps at the end from Coach!

Haha, yes, but I should have put that I helped him with those.

He kept writing "Ms" aka scribbling and saying M! M!

So cute.

Thanks for stopping by and the sweet comment. Good luck! I remember going "nest" crazy when I had three weeks to go! You'll get it all done --- somehow.

Tanya - of course, thank you! I'm enjoying your blog. I figure I will at least attempt to get it all done, if not, I'll live and get "enough" done. Whew.

I fell asleep last night at 7 pm on accident - exhaustion! Teaching doesn't help that.
