Fun Friday: Sadie's Week Two Update

Hi Friends,

How was your week?

Super Sadie here!  Did you see my One Week update from last week?  It's a new series I am having on Friday.  I turned TWO Weeks this past Monday.  Yesterday (Thursday) I went to my two week doc appt check up (more on that soon).

I hope you enjoy my Week Two Update today.  Be sure to let us know how your week went too!

Sadie's Week Two Update

First, Mommy wanted to share some special photos.  She took pics of my Big Brother Max in the Super Rocker so she wanted to take similar ones of me.  Although I was awake so they came out slightly different (the ONE time I was awake).  We'll have to try again, Mommy!  Be sure to look at the photos of my Big Bro too at this link.  Any similarities?  Differences?

Weight: I'm not exactly sure what it was on Monday, but today at my doc appt I was 7 lbs!  But I still weigh less than my bro did at birth (almost 8 lbs).

Height: Exactly the same as at birth.

Sleep: Pretty much the same as last week.  Mommy said she is going to get more strict with my daytime schedule.  And the Train Wrecks (Mommy and Daddy) started sleep training me tonight (Thursday).  I have them beat, I'm sleeping!

Diet: Same.

Clothes: I'm filling out some of my newborn clothes better.  Most of them are still pretty big though.  I haven't worn too many dresses since I am mostly at home, but I look forward to dressing up!  What are your favorite baby brands?

Baby Gear Love: I don't think we've used anything new this week, but we have used the Activity Gym more (in the living room area).  Mommy is also trying to keep me awake more with books and baby toys, but I either just sleep or stare at her blankly.

Crying: Pretty much about the same.  The good news is I am starting to cry less with my bath!  I lost my cord on Monday so I've been able to take a real bath in the "whaley" tub ever since.

Likes: Same.

Postpartum: From Sadie's Mommy - I've left the house about 1 - 2x per week.  I probably wouldn't be so stir crazy if it wasn't for having a Super Tot that I want to take around.  My Mom and Mother-in-Law are helping a lot (thank you!!!) since I had a c-section, and I'm not suppose to lift Max.  I'm pretty much off of my pain meds.  I can drive starting on Monday, but I actually drove on Thursday to Sadie's doc appt and felt fine.  I've been feeling sick this week so I hope that passes soon!

Milestones: My three biggest milestones ... 1) I lost my cord.  Tragic!  2) I get to take a real bath now in the Whaley tub.  3) I had my first doc appt (two week appt).  I also had some fun visitors this week ... last weekend the C Family and "Auntie" A on Sunday.  Mommy's friend (another) A came on Tuesday which was also my first Presidential Election Day.  And I should have a few more visitors tomorrow (Mommy's friend "G").  I hope I am not missing anyone!  I also had my first peeing and crapping on Mommy on the way to my bath the other night.  Sorry!
