Mad for Monday (Max's Weekend Update): Sickly Saturdays and Sundays (and Mondays)

Hi Friends,

How is / was your Labor Day Weekend?

We don't normally post on Holidays, but we will make an exception this week because we have much to share (this week)!  Our focus this week is on the arts, and we also have a Disney (the arts!) birthday to catch you up on tomorrow (that we were going to post about last week).

So what did you do this holiday weekend?  How did you celebrate Labor Day?  I had very ambitious and fun plans with my Train Wreck family that came to a crashing halt with my on and off fever and cold / cough this weekend.  Needless to say, we've had to spend much of the weekend inside (better luck next weekend?).

We did however do at least one thing this weekend!  We went to check out my possible 2nd Birthday location, and we think we found it (or we did find it, rather): the Hermann Park playground area and Lowe Birthday Pavilion.  Now for those of you outside of Texas may say, a January birthday outside?  But actually the weather is best in Texas from about October to February / March.  Last year my birthday was outside at the Houston Zoo, and the year before Mommy and Daddy's wedding was outside at the Courtyard on St. James (January 2nd).  Cross your fingers for some more good luck!

Speaking of Daddy, one big milestone this weekend ... I said a new word to impress all my fans: instead of Dada, I said Daddy.  Funny how the adults get all excited about that.

Enjoy some photos from our outing at Hermann Park:
